Punjab govt fails to control soaring sugar prices in Ramazan Breaking

The price of sugar in Lahore continues to surge during Ramazan, reaching Rs170 per kilogram in the open market. Wholesale prices have also climbed, with sugar now being sold at Rs168 per kilogram.  The cost of a 50-kilogram sugar bag has skyrocketed to Rs8,400, reflecting a steady increase in prices.   Just two days ago, sugar was being sold at Rs165 per kilogram, highlighting the ongoing inflationary pressure on essential commodities.
