Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti has ordered PTI spokesperson Rauf Hassan and others to be sent to jail on judicial remand. The decision follows a case registered under the PICA Act, which was heard at the District and Sessions Courts Islamabad. Rauf Hassan and his co-accused were presented in court after their physical remand had concluded. During the proceedings, FIA Prosecutor Sheikh Aamir requested an additional 5-day physical remand. However, the court denied this request and instead ruled for judicial remand. In response to the PTI lawyer’s request, the court granted permission for Rauf Hassan to undergo a medical check-up. Despite this concession, the court's decision was to confine Hassan and the others to jail while the case proceeds.
