Lawyer Abdul Moiz Jaferii has suggested that the PTI should issue letters to its nominated candidates who emerged victorious in the elections, which he says could help them in future legal proceedings. In a post on X, he said the public letters “should congratulate them (candidates) whilst reminding them of their duty to be loyal to the party else 63-A would be attracted”. “This will also help when they finally do end up at the Supreme Court about this issue, and they have something to explain the party position other than WhatsApp messages and media tickers, which haven’t impressed the SC in the recent past,” Jaferri added.
