Minister of State for Religious Affairs Khel Das Kohistani  said that the political path adopted by the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was not democratic and had led him to political isolation.While talking to a private news channel, he said public rejects his politics due to his confrontational approach. He said that the PTI founder must take responsibility for his actions, express remorse, and apologize to the nation for attacks on state institutions. 

He added that his political survival was not possible without respect for national institutions and democratic norms. The minister said that Pakistan’s children and security personnel were sacrificing their lives for the country, while propaganda campaigns were being run against state institutions on social media. He questioned whether such behavior served national interest or strengthened Pakistan’s independence.

He said appreciation should be shown to those making sacrifices for the country instead of targeting them through negative narratives. “Undermining institutions only weakens the state and serves no political or national purpose,” he added.
