President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among Muslim countries to address the challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah. He made these remarks during a meeting with Dr. Salah bin Mohammad M. Albdeer, Imam of Masjid Al-Nabvi, at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday. Welcoming the esteemed guest, President Asif Ali Zardari highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), built on shared faith, history, and brotherhood. He expressed satisfaction with the strengthening bilateral relations and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhance ties with Saudi Arabia. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of the Pakistani community to Saudi Arabia’s development and praised Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s reform initiatives for driving prosperity in the Kingdom. President Zardari commended the vision and courage of Prince Mohammed bin Salman in leading reforms for the betterment of KSA’s people and expressed hope that the Imam’s visit would further strengthen bilateral relations. The meeting concluded with the Imam of Masjid Al-Nabvi offering prayers for peace and prosperity in Pakistan.
