Poultry prices increased without any checkBreaking

October 21, 2023

The prices of poultry in Lahore have increased, with broiler meat increasing by Rs. 7 per kg to 468 rupees, live broiler chicken increasing by Rs 5 to Rs 312 per kg, and farm eggs increasing by 1 rupee to 320 rupees per dozen. The increase in prices has been attributed to a number of factors, including rising feed costs, supply chain disruptions, and the ongoing economic crisis in Pakistan. The increase in poultry prices is a major concern for consumers, as it comes at a time when many people are already struggling to make ends meet. Poultry is a staple food for many Pakistanis, and the price increase is likely to have a significant impact on household budgets. The government has acknowledged the problem and has taken steps to try to bring down poultry prices. However, it remains to be seen whether these measures will be effective.
