What could be termed a big victory for Kashmore Police, the Force succeeded in recovering Sagar Kumar, who had been kidnapped a month and a half back from Kashmore, following an encounter with dacoits in katcha area of Ghelpur on Wednesday. SSP Kashmore Mir Rohail Khoso told media that the police had started searching dacoits. Giving more details, Khoso said that the exchange of fire between the police and dacoits lasted for an hour. “After which, the dacoits fled the area, leaving Kumar behind,” he said, adding, “The dacoits had demanded Rs10 million in ransom for the release of the captive."
