On the orders of DPO Rashid Hidayat, an ASI in Deepalpur, Okara was suspended on Tuesday after the video of his shouting abuses at a lady constable went viral on social media. The DPO also constituted an inquiry committee under the supervision of the DSP legal so that action could be taken against him in the light of findings of its report. Usman, who was on duty at a Khidmat Markaz, made inappropriate gestures towards his female colleague besides also trying to slap her. However, a constable, who was present on the occasion, kept asking the ASI to control his temper, but in vain.
