The police in Sahiwal foiled an attempt to smuggle a huge quantity of weapons into the city on Friday. According to a police spokesman, the weapons were seized in Yousafwala area. The spokesman informed the media that 114 pistols, 18 rifles, 184 magazines and thousands of bullets were recovered from a vehicle during the police checking. The police arrested Naeeem, a resident of Noshehra, involved in the arms smuggling bid.
