The district Police intensified their crackdown against Proclaimed Offenders (POs), arresting three wanted suspects in separate operations across the district on Wednesday. According to police sources, Assistant Sub-Inspector Nadeem Iqbal of New Airport Police Station, along with his team, apprehended Category “A” proclaimed offender namely Muhammad Sharif . The suspect was wanted in a 2024 robbery case, they added.

In another operation, a City Hassan Abdal Police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector, Muhammad Akram arrested Muhammad Junaid, a resident of Mohalla Shaheedabad, Hassan Abdal. He was wanted in connection with a 2025 theft case, the sources said. Separately, City Attock Police arrested Aftab Bashir Gill, who was wanted in a 2022 cheque dishonor case. The source said that operations against proclaimed offenders would continue to ensure law and order in the district.
