A police constable was gunned down by his paternal uncle over property dispute here on Thursday. According to details, Constable Babar was ambushed by him uncle Imtiaz and others outside his residence as soon as he reached his native village Saman Pindi, Gujrat. As a result of firing, the police official was killed on the spot and assailants fled the scene. The deceased was deployed at Judicial Guard Kharian. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem. The SHO said that Imtiaz killed his nephew over property dispute. A case was registered into the incident and raids were being conducted to arrest the culprits. The District Police Officer (DPO) taker notice of murder of the constable has directed the officials to ensure arrest of culprits and providing justice to victim family.
