Unidentified armed men gunned down a police constable in crowded Tank Bazaar of district Tank of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday. According to details, unknown miscreants sprayed bullets at Constable Sharifuddin near Tank grid station while he was on his way to join duty. As a result of firing, the cop was martyred and assailants fled the scene of crime. The body was shifted to DHQ Hospital Tank for postmortem. The police cordoned off the area after the attack and conducted search operation for attackers but no arrest could be made.
