An anti-terrorism court in Azad Kashmir capital Muzaffarabad on Monday sent poet and journalist Ahmed Farhad Shah to jail on 14-day judicial remand. Farhad Shah, who had been forcibly abducted from his residence in Islamabad on May 15, mysteriously resurfaced in the custody of Gujjar Kohala police in Azad Kashmir on May 29, facing a case regarding inciting protests. The AJK police on Monday produced Farhad Shah in court after completion of his remand and also submitted an incomplete challan of the case. The court ordered to transfer Farhad Shah to Rarrah Jail until June 24. The ATC judge also directed the police to again produce the poet in the court on June 24.
