Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has termed the meeting between Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, a step in the right direction. Taking to social media website X on Thursday, he wrote, “In the game of degrading each other, the heart beat of the state was drowning.” Khawaja Saad Rafiq said that the PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) buried this game of hatred but PTI found adopted this illegal mean to gain power. He said that the PTI founder put the state and political community on path of hatred but was trapped himself. The PML-N leader stressed that political stakeholders should recognize each other and dialogues between opponent political forces on state affairs must continue.
