Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar has accused PML-N of attempting to create a rift between them and the establishment. Speaking to the media, Bhachar stated that the situation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is unlike that of other political parties, claiming that PML-N has put them in the establishment's crosshairs. He announced plans to file a reference against the Election Commission, citing grievances over the treatment of PTI following the 2024 elections. Bhachar demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9 and called for the dismissal of baseless cases against their workers and leaders. Bhachar criticized the current government, highlighting the state of Lahore and accusing the Chief Minister of being disconnected from ground realities, stating, "The government has completely failed."
