Federal Information Minister and PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday asked former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan to answer some of her questions first before setting out on a long march towards Islamabad. Calling Imran a ‘foreign agent’, and the one who played with the national security, Marriyum asked him to tell the reasons for his preparation for yet another march on the federal capital, especially at a time when one-fourth of the country was still under floodwater and the people were still coming to grips with the colossal loss of lives and properties. “Instead of helping those displaced by floods, you are planning to conquer Islamabad,” she commented satirically. The minister went on to add that at a time when the country’s economy was in tatters, why he was coming to Islamabad. Accusing former prime minister of destroying the economy by rendering 9.5 million people jobless and pushing 20 million below the poverty line, Marriyum asked him why he was coming to Islamabad after causing this destruction. Slamming PTI chairman for threatening judges and dragging state institutions into politics by levelling baseless allegations against them, the PML-N leader asked him the purpose of his march.
