Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief and sorrow over the passing of PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan's mother. In a statement issued on Saturday, the prime minister prayed for the departed to attain high ranks and for patience for her family members. In this hour of difficulty, all our condolences are with Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and his family members, Shehbaz Sharif said and added “May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of her and grant patience to her family members.”

Gohar Ali Khan’s mother passed away in her native Buner after a period of illness. According to the family, she had been unwell for some time before passing away in Buner. Her funeral prayers will be offered in Buner at 4pm on Saturday (today). Barrister Gohar announced his mother’s death in a message shared on social media.
