An attempt to smuggle latest mobile phones by a crew member of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was foiled and he is now facing removal from his job. The Customs officials at Islamabad International Airport stopped Faisal Majeed who was just returned with PIA flight from Toronto on October 24 and searched him. They found 16 mobile phones taped to his body. The PIA managed has issued show-cause notice to Faisal Majeed, seeking a reply within three days. The PIA administration warned that he could be removed from his job if he failed to submit a satisfactory reply.
