The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) confiscated 23,000 liters of fake carbonated and fizzy drinks being supplied to the markets. According to spokesperson of PFA, the authority’s enforcement team along with police raided two warehouses during a successful raid near village Haji Shah in Attock. He said that thousands of bottles of fake carbonated and fizzy drinks were stored in the warehouses for onward supply to the markets and shopkeepers. The spokesman said that the fake carbonated drinks were prepared with loose colors, hazardous chemicals and polluted water on the pretext of famous international brands.
