The All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association has postponed its planned strike for 15 days following successful negotiations with the government. Association Vice Chairman Numan Butt said the government had sought additional time to implement the petrol pump owners’ two demands.
He said the association had accepted the government’s request and decided to defer the strike for 15 days, allowing the authorities time to fulfil their commitments. The association will review the situation after the deadline and decide its future course of action based on the government’s progress in implementing the agreed demands.
