Peoples Democratic Party will submit a bill in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir assembly, seeking a blanket ban on liquor in the Muslim majority territory.  According to K ashmir Media Service, the bill will be tabled by Fayaz Ahmad, an MLA from Kupwara.  The bill proposes complete prohibition on the advertisement, sale, purchase, consumption and manufacture of alcoholic beverages in the occupied territory.  The bill will be introduced in the upcoming budget session of the IIOJK assembly.  The bill also proposes harsh penalties, including imprisonment and fines, for violations.
