Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a new alert for monsoon rains in Punjab from July 10 to 15. As per the PDMA result, heavy rains with strong winds are forecast in most districts. PDMA spokesperson said given the danger of urban flooding, the administration of big cities should be on alert, spokesperson. DG PDMA instructed districts to complete advance arrangements, “Rescue, WASA, Punjab Police, and Civil Defense are also alerted,’ PDMA DG said.
