PBM, HMR join forces to empower underprivileged womenBreaking

Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) and Hum Mashal-e-Rah Foundation (HMR) joined forces on Tuesday to empower underprivileged and differently-abled women, helping them become self-sufficient and respected members of society through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).  The partnership, unveiled at a ceremony in Islamabad, focuses on helping these women become self-sufficient and respected members of society by providing job opportunities and enhancing their professional skills. 

The event was graced by PBM Managing Director, Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, who served as the Chief Guest. Also in attendance were Amnah Aftab, Chairperson and Founder Director of HMR Foundation, and Amir Shahzad, CEO of Punjab Charity Commission, along with other distinguished guests.  The MoU outlines the collaboration between the two organizations to implement an effective delivery mechanism at PBM’s Business Facilitation Center.

This center supports women trainees from Women Empowerment Centres, aiming to enhance their skills and provide meaningful job opportunities.  In his address, Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt described the event as a milestone for women empowerment, stressing the important role women entrepreneurs play in the country’s socio-economic development.  He paid tribute to the hardworking women across Pakistan and expressed his commitment to offering PBM’s services to impoverished yet determined women pursuing self-reliance and economic independence.   

He also recognized HMR Foundation’s significant contributions to supporting marginalized communities and thanked them for extending their support to the women and girls at PBM’s Business Facilitation Center.Pakistani cuisine recipes  Amnah Aftab, Chairperson of HMR Foundation, highlighted the foundation’s ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian services to the country’s most vulnerable communities.
