A tourist bus that was stuck in snow somewhere between Abbaspur and Mehmood Gali in Rawalakot was rescued on Friday. According to the rescue sources, the bus was carrying 30 passengers including women and children. The police personnel and volunteers took part in the rescue operation.The passengers in the bus reached Rawalakot safely. The bus had stuck on road while moving towards Haveli. Meanwhile, due to heavy snowfall in Abbottabad and Galyat, dozens of vehicles of tourists and locals are stranded on the Murree Road in Kandla.

Hundreds of tourists were trapped in their vehicles in Abbottabad as Murree Road has been blocked after a snowfall. The TV channel report said that the temperature has been dropped in Abbottabad so tourists including women and children began to shiver in the cold as up to one foot of snow has fallen in Abbottabad and Galyat. Unfortunately, the Abbottabad administration has failed to remove snow from Murree Road and relief operations could not be started to evacuate the stranded tourists in the area.
