The killing of eight people including five teachers in Parachinar, Upper Kurram was mourned on Friday. All the markets and businesses were closed in protest and mourning. The teachers’ community protested against the incident. Thousands of people participated in the protest. The Kurram Teachers Association had announced five days of mourning. All the government schools in Parachinar will remain closed for five days. The lawyers have also announced not to appear in the courts. The burial of the deceased was carried out after Jumma prayers. It is to be noted here that armed men had shot dead eight people including five teachers at Government High School Tari Mangal on Thursday last.
