Permanent Representatives of Pakistan and Türkiye to the United Nations Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad and Ambassador Ahmet Yildiz joined members of the Pakistani and Turkish communities at Masjid un Noor in New York to solemnly commemorate the third anniversary of the 6 February 2023 earthquake in Türkiye.

In their remarks, they highlighted the multifaceted and enduring relationship between Pakistan and Türkiye, marked by steadfast support for each other's core interests, close cooperation at the United Nations, and joint advocacy for the just causes of the peoples of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.They also commended the Pakistani and Turkish communities for their accomplishments in diverse fields.
