Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with Sri Lankan Minister for Sports and Youth Sunil Kumar Gamage in Colombo on Monday.During the meeting, both dignitaries agreed to strengthen cricket ties between the two brotherly countries.Talking with Sri Lankan Minister for Sports and Youth, Mohsin Naqvi said that relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka are strengthening day by day.
Mohsin Naqvi lauded the arrangements for holding the ICC T20 International Cricket tournament. He thanked the Sri Lankan counter for the warm reception. The PCB Chairman invited the Sri Lankan minister to visit Pakistan. Pakistan’s High Commissioner Maj-Gen ® Faheemul Aziz, Advisor to Chairman PCB, Amir Mir, Chief Operating Officer, Sameer Ahmad, and Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Earlier, a special ceremony was held in Colombo in honour of Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, where Sri Lanka Cricket paid tribute to him for promoting the game. During his visit, the chairman of PCB met Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva and senior officials. Both boards reiterated their commitment to promoting cricket and increasing cooperation.
