Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have expressed deep concern over ceasefire violations by Israel in Lebanon. The concern was shared during a telephonic call between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan late Wednesday night. During the conversation, Ishaq Dar discussed latest regional developments with his Saudi counterparts.

Both the leaders stressed the urgent need to full respect and implementation of the ceasefire agreement to ensure lasting peace and stability. Ishaq Dar appreciated Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Pakistan’s efforts toward achieving lasting peace. Both the foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact.
