The federal government has decided to name a new highway in Islamabad after the brotherly neighbouring country, Iran. Islamabad’s Eleventh Avenue has been named Iran Avenue as per the federal government’s decision. The decision has been accorded by the federal cabinet on the CDA summary through circulation. It may be noted that the CDA has started the construction of Eleventh Avenue. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi today arrived in Pakistan for a three-day official visit. The Iranian president reached the federal capital with his spouse, a high-level delegation of cabinet members and senior officials. The Foreign Office (FO) said Raisi arrived at the Islamabad airport and was received by Housing Minister Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran Mudassir Tipu.
