Over 2000 bags sugar was seized during crackdown against hoarders and smugglers here on Monday. According to details, the administration conducted operation against sugar hoarders and smugglers. During raid, over 2000 bags sugar was recovered from a godown while huge cache of fertilizer bags was also seized in Wahan. Sources said that the recovered items would be sold at controlled rates through stalls and recovered sugar would be sold at rate of Rs147 per kilogram.
