A terrible fire broke out in the huts near the Range Road in Rawalpindi, in which a 7-year-old child died and over eleven huts gutted, according to Rescue 1122. According reports, as soon as the fire in the huts was reported to Rescue 1122, its staff immediately arrived and started the operation to extinguish the fire. Eight huts were burnt to ashes in the fire.
The spokesperson Rescue 1122 told that the reasons for the fire could not be revealed. With the help of 6 fire tenders, the fire was brought under control in an hour. After the completion of cooling process the search operation was carried out. A dead body of a boy was recovered from the ashes of a hut and his body was 100 percent burnt.The cause of the fire is still not known, while more than a dozen families have been displaced as a result of the fire.
