One robber was killed and two others injured and held with arms, other valuables during separate police encounters in the metropolis. Two citizens were also injured in firing incidents. According to details, two robbers were present near Lyari Expressway with objective of looting citizens were intercepted by police. Upon sight of police, they started firing and attempted to flee with led to an encounter. In retaliatory firing of police, one robber was killed while his cohort managed to escape. In another police encounter in Steel Town, two robbers were injured and held besides recovery of arms, cell phones and a motorcycle from their possession. The killed and injured robbers were wanted by police in various cases of robberies and other crimes. Two citizens identified as Noor Muhammad and Zeeshan were critically injured in firing of unidentified gunmen in Sarjani Town. They were shifted to hospital.
