One robber was killed; another injured and held after exchange of fire with police here on Saturday. According to details, on a tip-off the police approached a two-member gang of robbers engaged in looting citizens near Pakka Qila area of Hyderabad. Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing and attempted to flee from the scene. In retaliatory firing of police, one robber was killed and another injured and held by police. The body and injured robber were shifted to hospital. The detainee and killed robber were wanted in various criminal cases.
