A case was registered against four policemen of Shadbagh police Station in Lahore on Friday, following the death of a 70-year-old citizen who was allegedly killed in police custody. According to the First Information Report, police took away 70-year-old citizen Umar Farooq from his convenience store on Thursday night. The old man died allegedly due to the torture of police in custody. A case has been registered against four police officials including Imran and Asad. According to the FIR, the accused cops left the dead body of the old man at Khawaja Farid Hospital and fled from there.
