A man and his son were shot dead during an armed clash between two rival groups in the jurisdiction of Kanganpur Police Station.According to details, the incident took place in Landianwala in which the father-son died on the spot when firing started due to an old enmity between Arian and Dogar groups. Soon after the incident, heavy contingent of police reached the crime scene and shifted the dead bodies to local hospital for autopsy. 

Police also registered a first information report against four persons namely Adnan, Mohsin, Husnain, Saifullah and one unknown person on behalf of deceased brother Mohammad Aslam. Inspector-General of Police (IGP) of Punjab Dr Usman Anwar took notice of the incident and directed Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sheikhupura Range Ather Ismail to submit a detailed report about the incident. Further investigation was underway.
