Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited Defence-A police station in Lahore early Saturday morning. He ordered the release of an old-aged man, who had been thrown in the lock-up because of begging. He also inquired from other prisoners about their cases. The CM then walked up to the Front Desk and checked the progress made on people’s complaints. He ordered timely action on these complaints. The chief minister made it clear to the station staff that no delay in addressing people’s complaints would be tolerated.
He also checked the police station’s record. He went to each and every section of the station one by one, and even inspected washrooms. CM Naqvi visits General Hospital The chief minister visited Lahore’s General Hospital late Friday night and reviewed the treatment facilities being provided there. Some of the patients complained about delay in their check-up. The CM ordered the hospital administration to ensure timely check-up of patients and immediately resolve their other issues.
He went round different departments of the hospital such as Emergency, X-Ray room and others and inquired after the patients. He also asked the patients as well as their attendants whether they were satisfied with the facilities being provided at the hospital. Besides that he met with the doctors and praised them for serving ailing humanity.
