An oil tanker carrying 50,000 liters of spirit fuel overturned near Shorkot Cantonment Junction Railway Station on early Wednesday morning, according to rescue officials. According to media reports, the accident was reportedly caused by high speed and brake failure. The district and motorway police have cordoned off the affected area and called for machinery, the fire brigade, and rescue teams to undertake the rescue operation. The fuel from the tanker has reportedly spilled into the area, and the authorities are working to contain the spill.There have been no reports of injuries or fatalities so far. The accident has caused traffic disruptions on the road, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes. The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and are working to clear the road as soon as possible.
