The police busted five-member robber gang along with its ring leader, recovered stolen bikes, cash, arms and other valuables from their possession. Reacting to surge in crimes, the police launched crackdown in Alipur area of Muzaffargarh. During operation, five members of notorious robber gang along with its ring leader Gul Sher alias Gulli were arrested. DSP Alipur Fiaz ul Haq while addressing a press conference informed that the police recovered 10 stolen motorcycles, Rs3,60,000 cash, arms and other looted valuables worth Rs1.8 million from possession of the detainees.

He said that the nabbed robbers were wanted by police of various districts and the ring leader Gul Sher used to opened fire at citizens upon resistance during dacoities. The citizens appreciated the police for their action and garlanded the DSP and SHO Alipur for their commitment to control the crimes.
