Nine people were injured when a van overturned near Head Muhammad Wala bridge on Friday while its driver was reportedly trying to avoid a motorcycle. According to Rescue 1122, 12 people were travelling in the van. Nine people were affected in the accident, while five were provided first aid at the scene. Four injured persons were shifted to Nishtar Hospital after receiving initial treatment, it added. The injured were identified as Maham Bibi, 28, Musarrat Bibi, 58, Riaz, 30, and Kamran, 21. The rescue operation at the site has been completed, Rescue 1122 said.
