In a Joint intelligence based Counter Narcotics Operation by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and Collectorate of customs enforcement Karachi, smuggling of huge quantity of narcotics was averted. During the operation five smugglers along with stateless boat carrying 420 kg of Ice crystal was apprehended from North Arabian Sea.  The value of narcotics in International market is estimated to be Rs.4.9 billon. Successful operation by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and Collectorate of customs enforcement Karachi resulting in seizure of large amount of narcotics is a testament to the fact that we are vigilant and remain committed in preventing use of Pakistani waters for any unlawful act/ purposes.
