Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday visited Hanif Mohammad High Performance Center in Karachi and witnessed women's cricket training camp. During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi encouraged the 36 under-training women cricketers. He also held a detailed discussion with coaches and players. Mohsin Naqvi directed to provide the best hygienic food and training facilities to the undertraining women cricketers.
The PCB chairman told the women cricketers that the best coaches are deputed for their training. He advised them to focus on their training and work hard. On this occasion, coaches briefed the PCB chairman about the training programme of the women cricketers. They informed the PCB chairman that the training camp started from 6 am to 6 pm, in which the players were given physical training, gym, and different exercises.
The coaches said that players were also getting training in fielding, bowling, and batting. They informed the PCB chairman that scario-based matches were also being held. Former cricketers, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Rehman, Imran Farhat, Manager Ayesha Jailil, and other coaches were also present on the occasion.
