Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti have commended Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan North’s vital role in maintaining peace and order in the province. They expressed these views during their visit to FC Balochistan North Headquarters on Friday. On arrival, both the dignitaries were warmly welcomed by Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, Inspector General (IG) of FC Balochistan North, who introduced them to the officers and personnel of the force.
Both Naqvi and Bugti laid flowers at the martyrs’ monument and offered prayers for them, acknowledging their sacrifices in the service of the nation. They expressed their gratitude for the invaluable contributions made by FC Balochistan North in securing peace in the region. During the visit, Major General Atif Mujtaba briefed the visitors on the force's training, operational readiness, and professional capabilities.
Both the Federal Minister and the Chief Minister lauded the FC Balochistan North for its critical role in maintaining peace and order in the province. In his address, Mohsin Naqvi paid special tribute to the sacrifices made by FC Balochistan North in the fight against terrorism. He highlighted the force's significant role in countering insurgencies and terrorist activities, particularly those backed by external elements. CM Sarfaraz Bugti also praised FC Balochistan North for its unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorist threats.
He emphasized that the Balochistan government stands firmly with the security forces in their efforts to fight terrorism. "The brave men of FC Balochistan North continue to combat and dismantle terror groups, and we remain committed to supporting our security forces in this ongoing battle," Bugti stated. The visit was attended by several other key figures, including the Chief Secretary of Balochistan and the IG of Balochistan Police.
