Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Friday suspended proceedings of the House due to a lack of quorum.Soon after the session began, MNA Muhammad Iqbal Khan Afridi pointed out the absence of quorum, prompting the Speaker to order a headcount.
After the counting process, the Speaker declared that the House was not in order and announced a break until the quorum was completed. The National Assembly was scheduled to take up calling attention notices, motions, standing committee reports, introduction of bills, resolutions, and other legislative business.
