There were serious differences in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-) errupted and the party has been split over the change of the Governor Sindh and Faisal Vawda's senate ticket on Monday. The MQM-P's Rabita Committee was unaware of who proposed the name of Khushbukhat Shujaat for the governorship to replace Kamran Tessori. Well placed sources in the party said the majority of the MQM-P's Rabita Committee was in favor of retaining Kamran Tessori as Sindh Governor. The sources said the majority of the committee members also opposed giving senate ticket to Faisal Vawda. The sources disclosed that the committee was informed that on the instructions of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, MQM-P assembly members signed Faisal Vawda's nomination papers. It is worth mentioning that soon after developing the situation over the issue of the new Sindh Governor, sitting Governor Kamran Tessori left for Islamabad to consult his close friends.
