A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a hit-and-run accident on the Multan-Vehari road,here on Saturday.
According to police,the incident occurred near Chak No.142/10R,Adda Zor Kot, when a speeding Mazda truck struck the rider,identified as Naveed(30). The collision caused the rider to fall onto the road and come under the truck’s tyres.

The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the victim to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Jahanian,where doctors described his condition as critical, with the next 12 hours deemed crucial for his survival. Local police have seized the truck while further investigation was underway.
