A local court in Lahore on Saturday declared PTI leader and former federal minister Moonis Elahi proclaimed offender in the money laundering case. The court has declared Moonis proclaimed offender as he has fled the country. There are two cases of money laundering against Moonis Elahi. He has been accused of laundering billions of rupees to foreign countries illegally. A case has also been registered against Moonis in the Punjab Anti-Corruption Circle.

Police submitted a challan against the PTI leader and three other accused to the court. The court sought details of Moonis’ travel history and bank accounts. The court has started the process to freeze the former federal minister’s identity card, passport, bank accounts, and properties. The court sought his identity card, passport, and the correct address of his residence.Moonis has also been pronounced the proclaimed offender in the case registered by the Anti-Corruption Circle.
