Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the Islamabad administration, police, and Pakistan Army on Thursday for ensuring the successful and peaceful organisation of the SCO Summit 2024 in Pakistan. In a tweet, Naqvi also commended the Punjab Police, Rangers, and Sindh Police, stating that all forces worked tirelessly day and night to ensure the peaceful event. The interior minister also added that the dedication of the security forces reflects Pakistan's commitment to regional peace and international cooperation. It is worth mentioning that the SCO Summit members before their departure have also congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the successful organisation of the conference, while the PM expressed his gratitude to all the guests.

In addition to the Prime Minister, the foreign office paid tribute to the Pakistan Army, security forces, and administration for their role in ensuring the event's success. Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedaal Khan, also extended heartfelt congratulations to the PM and all stakeholders involved in the 23rd Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.  They commended the Pakistan Army and other institutions for ensuring the peaceful and successful organisation of this prestigious international event.
