Mohsin Naqvi announces two new underpasses in IslamabadBreaking

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the construction of two new underpasses in Islamabad. He was presiding over a special meeting at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters in Islamabad during which he reviewed the development projects in Islamabad. Mohsin Naqvi said that these underpasses will be constructed at Kashmir Chowk and Faisal Masjid, and work on these underpasses will be started next month.

On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi expressed his displeasure over the non-availability of Emergency 1122. He directed that work on capital emergency be started and that all resources be made available for its operation. He further directed that work on the establishment of new emergency services centres be started. Mohsin Naqvi said that work on the Expressway Service Road must be completed at a given time.

During the meeting, a comprehensive briefing was given to the interior minister regarding development projects in Islamabad. The participants of the meeting reviewed various proposals for generation of revenue. Mohsin Naqvi directed that work should be done on a sustainable revenue model to achieve self-reliance. The auction process of plots in Islamabad was continued on the second day.

On the first day of the auction in the capital, Islamabad, plots worth a total of Rs 13.8067 billion were sold. The three-day auction of commercial plots is underway at the Jinnah Convention Centre until August 6. 'In accordance with the vision of the Prime Minister and the Federal Interior Minister, measures to ensure ease of doing business and facilitate the business community are being implemented through the public auction process,' stated the Chairman of the Auction Committee.
