Mobile Internet services suspended in IIOJK’s Kishtwar districtBreaking

Mobile data internet services have been suspended in Kishtwar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian administration has ordered the suspension of mobile data services, including 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G, to hide the public information of the massive cordon and search operations in different areas of the district.

The mobile internet services have been suspended in Singhpora, Chingam and Chatroo areas of Kishtwar from January 29, 2026, which Indian officials claim to prevent possible misuse by anti-India elements.

The order was issued by Principal Secretary, Home Department, Chandraker Bharti, following inputs from the Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, who is the authorised officer. As per the directive, the suspension covers a radius of six kilometers around each of the identified locations.
