The Awami Action Committee (AAC) headed by senior APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the mother of Farooq Ahmad Soudagar, a senior member of the organization, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to Kashmir Media Service, the AAC held a condolence gathering in Srinagar to honor the deceased and offer the bereaved family their condolences. Members of the community and others attended the event, which was hosted at the family’s home in Rajouri Kadal.
The bereaved family, which included Farooq Ahmad, Abdul Rahman, Khurshid Ahmad, Altaf Hussain, and Nisar Ahmad, received sincere sympathies. Attendees also prayed for elevation of the deceased soul’s status in the hereafter. The gathering made clear that the AAC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq is fully supporting the family during this difficult time. A large number of AAC leaders and members participated in the funeral prayers, reflecting their deep respect for the deceased. Later, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq personally visited Farooq Ahmad Soudagar’s residence to extend his condolences and support.
